The number of UK taxpayers caught in the 60% tax rate trap has surged by 18% over the past year and by 45% over the last two years.

Introduced by Labour in 2010, the Tories were too spineless to scrap it.

Now it's a work disincentive for hundreds of thousands.

Labour's genius plan to increase business rates on larger properties will lead to a five-fold increase in the amount paid by airports, making them uninvestible.

Unclear whether this is part of Labour's plan for growth or of a plan for degrowth.
