HMRC explains how CJRS grants are treated for tax purposes.

From 6 April 2020, employers have been able to pay employees up to £6 a week tax-free to cover additional costs if they have had to work from home.
The temporary 15% VAT cut for the tourism and hospitality sectors will be extended to the end of March next year.
Devised by HMRC and HM Tresury, the new document sets out a vision for the future of tax administration in the United Kingdom, designed to improve its resilience, effectiveness and support for taxpayers.
